If your club or group is looking for a location to hold its meeting let us know. If your group fits into what we are doing here we will try to fit you in. If you can think of a club or group that you would like the HSAC to include contact us with your idea.
These are groups and clubs that meet at the HSAC building or are currently forming. If would like more information about any of the groups that meet here please contact the HSAC. We allow these groups to use our building but don't censor these groups, if you attend a meeting and don't like what's going on...don't go back. If one of these groups didn't meet when they should have met, let us know and we will see what we can do about getting better communication.
This club was established to help local writers with their craft. Free form, technical, poetry, stream of consciousness, novel, non-fiction anything with the written word is welcome to this group. Anyone is welcome to come and join our group. Please bring a sample of your writing to share. Like Chuck Palahniuk says- if it's your 1st time everyone shares Currently there is no set standard time for them to meet.
Each Tuesday from 5:30 till whenever come and play whatever instrument you have to work with. Some only have a voice while others bring a whole band. Come and join other musicians to help those who are looking or share our love for music. Sometimes we have a larger group so large instruments may be limited.(Drum Kits) Summer may have us outside playing in the warm air, drum circles will be welcome to join. When outside, some dancing would be nice as well. If no musicians appear by 6:30 then we close up shop and wait till next week.
